• The Old Lighthouse
  An historic Grade II building, recently celebrating its centenary. Opened with great ceremony by His Royal Majesty the Prince of Wales in 1904 after a 3-year build, it survived t20 world wars before decommission in 1960. For 56 years it provided a welcome land light to vessels negotiating the perils of the English Channel.

• The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway
  When Howey bought the railway to Dungeness in 1928, it was even more desolate than it is today; there wasn't a road or Power Station and it only had one lighthouse. But the RH&DR wasn't the only railway to have a station on the shingle headland. The Southern Railway were already here and you can still detect the tell-tale signs of the old station to your left as your train leaves for New Romney.
• Dungeness National Nature Reserve
  Dungeness is a hostile landscape but it has many distinctive plants which favour the pebble habitat close to the sea.
• RSPB Dungeness
  Dungeness nature reserve occupies nearly 1,000 hectares of the Dungeness peninsula, the largest shingle formation of its kind in Europe. It is part of the Dungeness National Nature Reserve.
