Frequently asked questions
Do i need to be registered, or ring in advance, to use the services at the centre?
No, you just walk in without an appointment, report to reception and wait for the nurse to see you.
Am i going to be waiting hours to be seen?
The long opening hours (up to 15 hours a day during the week) means we anticipate there willl be short waiting times.
However there are bound to be busy times of the day, especially in the morning.
Our aim is to provide patients at the centre with a rapid "see and treat" service.
Can i see a GP while i am at the centre?
The centre is a nurse led service, which means that well trained experienced nurses will care for you.
Therefore there will be no GPs on site.
The centre compliments the local GP services.
Our nurses are extremely able to treat the conditions stated on this website.
GPs can then concentrate on more tailored one to one care and long term conditions.
Is there parking outside the centre?
There is an accessible drop off point at the front entrance to the centre with on street parking available in the surrounding Radnor Road area. There are also disabled bays available in front of the centre.
Is there a dentist or pharmacy at the centre
